Single bet format is:

<amount><at sign><location>

e.g.

5@12

Means five units on number 12.

Multiple bets must be separated by comma:

5@12,3@20,2@18

Means five units on number 12, three units on number 20, two units on number 18.

Some less-used bets have been excluded to keep it simple due to name collisions with the more-popular bets since they aren't commonly requested.

A proposal at one time was to make them explicit, like this:

0-1-2
0-2-3
0-1-2-3

Also, the 0,00,1,2,3 "basket" roulette bet that nobody has ever requested to be included in any coded system (for obvious reasons: 5-number bet, but double-street payout):

0-1-2-3-37

They're still in an indeterminate state until a time when they are requested to be used in an actual system, so they prompt a Bet string version 2.

Zero is like any other number, & to exclude it from a system (unless playing strict EC-, DZ-based), its gonna come back to haunt whoever excluded it.

There's a folk tale Snow White 'bout witch not invited to the wedding, that in turn put the bitch to sleep ..

Anyway, 0*2, 0*3, 0'3 .. or similar, seem like a great option to address those few irregularities, & wouldn't be hard to incorporate.

Nope, t'was that Sleeping Beauty.
